Attention Star Wars fans! 2-for-1 tickets for London Art Fair.

It looks like Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader is going to make an appearance at the Business Design Centre next week. Or at least his head is. As part of London Art Fair, art duo littlewhitehead are presenting their work, Spam, which sees a life-size wax figure of a child, sitting, fist clenched in a deserted diner. In reference to the title of the spam image which inspired the piece, the unsuspecting child is seen here sporting Darth Vader's frankly mega-cool helmet.

Curated by Sumarra Lunn, the piece is part of littlewhitehead's contribution to Art Projects, a programme of contemproary artwork that provides an experimental edge to London Art Fair, the UK's largest Modern British and Contemporary art showcase.

Aside from internet-inspired Star Wars oddities, photography also features strongly in Art Projects this year: Hotshoe Gallery, bearspace, Monika Bobinska are all showing photographic works. Meanwhile, Putney's Guillochon Gallery is putting on a recession show curated by Darren Coffield, WW Gallery in Hackney are doing an arty version of Supermarket Sweep, and Maurice Einhardt Neu Gallery on Redchurch Street are teaming up with FAD website, and Studio Voltaire is collaborating with Chisenhale on a range of limited editon prints by both emerging artists and more established names like Wolfgang Tillmans.

London Art Fair is offering Spoonfed readers two tickets for the price of one, when booked before 14th January*. The advance ticket price is £11 plus £1.50 booking fee. Call 08448 480 141 or book online at www.londonartfair.co.uk quoting LAF139 in either case.

London Art Fair 2011 is at the Business Design Centre from 19th - 23rd January 2011.
