18 January, 2010

London Fashion Week - it's not just about the catwalk shows. Somerset House hosts a massive exhibition of Autumn/Winter 2010 collections.

Aside from the vast array of catwalk shows that get the majority of the press attention, one of the most important parts of London Fashion Week is the massive exhibition of ready-to-wear and accessories collections. Until recently this was held in the Natural History Museum, but the last few seasons have seen the whole shebang up sticks to Somerset House.

Taking place from 19th-23rd February 2010, the London Fashion Week exhibition takes over four floors of the sprawling 18th Century palace. On display are the collections of over 200 designers from massive international brands like Eley Kishimoto, Ksubi, Cutler & Gross and Patrick Cox accessories to smaller emerging talents such as ethical British label, Izzy Lane, or producers of intricate jewellery, Zoe & Morgan.
