The weekend is over! Our team report from the front row of London Fashion Week.

The many varieties of British weather this weekend treated visitors to London Fashion Week to a real showcase of London life. A mixture of sun, cloud and rain combined with fluctuating temperatures to challenge the wardrobes of even the best-prepared fashionistas.
When it comes to fashion, you can always expect a spot of controversy to jazz things up, and this London Fashion Week that controversy came in the form of designer Mark Fast's decision to send plus-size models down the catwalk on Saturday. Apparently Fast's stylist was so angry by the decision that they pulled out of the show at the last minute. Most other observers – including the Telegraph's Hilary Alexander – have been positive about the move, but the clothes themselves received mixed reviews.

Aside from weight issues, London Fashion Week is also well known for queues, and worst hit this weekend was the PPQ show, at which even relatively influential fashion types were being turned away. Their after-party was horribly overcrowded as well...PPQueue anyone?
Highlights of the weekend included Margaret Howell's ever understated designs, some wacky antler headpieces at Topshop Unique, everything at Aquascutum, the Vivienne Westwood show in the Royal Courts of Justice, and Central Saint Martins streaming their show live online. There's never any problems with queueing on the internet.
One last thing I noticed more than ever before was the sheer mass of Street Style photographers and bloggers. Everyone seems to be milling about just taking photos of each other to put on their blogs. It's kind of cool in a way in the sense that there's a dilution of the previously infinite power of the Fashion Editors. But it also gets a little wearing after a while.
Celebrities spotted so far: Olivia Palermo, Kate Moss, les soeurs Geldof, Nick Grimshaw, Jimmy Choo, Sophie Anderton... and loads of others whose names we can't remember.
