Fourth Plinth winners unveiled.

Yes, sorry we couldn't resist, and technically it is true. As Boris Johnson revealed earlier today, a massive cock is to be erected in Trafalgar Square next year. And what's more, it's a massive blue cock. Weird right?
Well yes. German artist Katharina Fritsch's large-scale cockerel – decked out in Yves Klein Blue – will strut atop the Fourth Plinth in 2013.
Meanwhile Elmgreen and Dragset's sculpture of a boy on a rocking horse will be unveiled next year as replacement for Yinka Shonibare's ship in a bottle which is currently in place.
According to the BBC, Mayor of London Boris Johnson said: "All of the shortlisted artists show what an extraordinary crucible the Fourth Plinth is for contemporary art... It continues to spark the imagination and there has been a tremendous response from the public."
When the shortlist was announced back in August we were pretty dismissive of all the entries. The YKB cock did at least stick out [That's enough cock jokes - Ed.]
