Rankin

Sky Arts has teamed up with celebrated photographer Rankin for a new advertising campaign, launching today. The campaign – featuring large-scale photographs by Rankin on billboards across the country – is being championed as “the biggest gallery in Britain”.

In order to achieve this bold claim, posters have sprung up on prominent streets in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Liverpool, features 16 images, each representing a different form of art. In London, these images are dotted up and down Tottenham Court Road. As is the way with Rankin the images feature a range of sexed-up artists and models shot by the famous snapper.

Co-founder of Dazed & Confused, the prolific Rankin has worked with the likes of Naomi Campbell, Lily Cole, Kylie Minogue, Kate Moss, Tony Blair and Queen Elizabeth II.
