Love coffee? Love photography? Love winning? Then this is almost certainly the perfect competition for you.

Nespresso

Coffee is a rather emotive topic these days. Everyone has their own favourite London café, and their own opinions on whether you can get coffee in London that's even half as good as that in Paris, Milan, Buenos Aires etc. In fact, it's the Australians who are often most vocal about how great their coffee is. The recent arrival in London of excellent coffee chain Flat White suggests that they may indeed have a point.

Another thing that's all the rage these days is street photography, particularly fashion blogs like The Sartorialist and Une Fille Comme Moi. So, whoever came up with the idea to combine coffee with street photography deserves a hearty pat on the back.

Coffee-making people Nespresso are running a competition to celebrate the launch of their new CitiZdot coffee machine and it's open to anyone who's a fan of coffee and photography. So, like everyone in London then? All you have to do in order to win one of the snazzy CitiZ machines (personalised with your winning photo!) is capture your own “urban city coffee moments”, which seems a little tautological to us, but hey ho. The whole thing's being endorsed by the First Couple of the fashion blogosphere, Lord Scott Schuman and Lady Garance Doré, so it gets our seal of approval.

Incidentally, you may be interested to know that Spoonfed's Culture Editor featured on the Sartorialist a while back (on Monday 13th October, 2008 to be precise) although of course he never mentions it to anyone...
