From Lambeth to Mayfair, Studio Voltaire announces exciting new pop-up shop.

House of Voltaire

Lambeth public arts centre Studio Voltaire have announced that they'll be opening a temporary shop in Mayfair this November.

Supported by Arts Council England and Outset Contemporary Art Fund, House of Voltaire will sell unique works of art alongside limited edition prints and a special series of commissions and collaborations.

Situated above the Rupert Sanderson boutique in Bruton Place, House of Voltaire will sell objects for as little as £10 and as much as £10,000 by a host of contemporary artists, including Matthew Darbyshire, Jeremy Deller, Anthea Hamilton, Goshka Macuga, Michael Landy, Wolfgang Tillmans, Mark Titchner and Julie Verhoeven.

Studio Voltaire's Artistic Director, Joe Scotland, says: “We are really excited to be opening a temporary outpost in the heart of Mayfair. House of Voltaire is a wonderful opportunity to raise money for Studio Voltaire’s artistic community and public programmes.”

Rupert Sanderson, who's donated the space in which House of Voltaire will operate, says: “I’m delighted to be launching our show space with House of Voltaire. It’s a great idea from a unique organisation and fits perfectly with our annual programme of hosting a one-off artistic endeavour in our Mayfair flagship.”

House of Voltaire is at 19 Bruton Place W1J 6LZ from 11th November to 4th December 2010.
