The Boiler House - Amazing New Venue Inside Battersea Power Station

The venerable Battersea Power Station gets a new lease of life thanks to the launch of The Boiler House, a major new events venue inside the Grade II* listed building.

“All over Battersea, some hope and despair.” So sang a certain Stephen Patrick Morrissey, with the emphasis, as usual, firmly on despair. But for those of you who've been longing to see something useful done with the oddly grand Battersea Power Station, we're pleased to say that, at last, there's hope.

The Boiler House

This March sees the official opening of the Boiler House, a swanky new London events venue right inside Battersea Power Station itself, and, boy, does it look cool. Visitors enter through an illuminated sci-fi tunnel, which opens out into a kind of hub in the centre of the power station.

With a quarter of the ceiling rendered completely transparent, guests can truly appreciate the scale and Art Deco splendour of Battersea Power Station – it's the largest brick building in Europe don't cha know. 

The Boiler House

Given the Grade II* listed status of the surrounding building, and a licence for 700 seated or 1000 standing guests, The Boiler House looks set to become one of London's most prestigious events venues – perfect for fashion parties, banquets, and large-scale launch events of all variety. And if anyone's maybe thinking of throwing me a little birthday party...
