An unashamedly partial list of our favourite fashion bloggers, most of whom live or work or do other stuff in London, or maybe just came to visit once.

Fashion – turn to the left, etc. Everyone loves a bit of fashion (or at least, they ought to) but the traditional big name glossies can occasionally just feel a bit meh – stuffy, or bland, or pretentious or alienating, or just quite heavy to carry around... Enter, therefore, the fashion blog. From tailors to stylists, photographers to people who just like writing stuff, there are millions of different London fashion blogs. With London Fashion Week just around the corner, here, in no particular order, is our Top 10:
Fashion Tosh
Most things written about fashion in magazines are a load of old rubbish – and this is where Fashion Tosh comes in. Pricking the pomposity of vacuous fashionista prose is this fearlessly anonymous blogger. Direct, occasionally coarse, but always funny, and depressingly accurate.
The Savile Row Artisan
Maverick tailor (yes, yes) Matthew Farnes set up on his own after stints at Connock & Lockie, Huntsman and Ede & Ravenscroft. Since then he has angered Savile Row traditionalists (not exactly the hardest thing in the world) by describing himself as a Savile Row Artisan, even though he's not even based in London. Oh well, his blog is a fascinating insight into the passion and process behind the bespoke product.
Fashionbite
We met Emily Seares who runs Fashionbite on an entertainingly boozy press trip to Paris back in 2009. Formerly of Draper's, Emily set up her blog to coincide with the 25th anniversary of London Fashion Week – this year she's also blogging for On|Off.
Sartorialist
Yeah, ok so it's not specifically London-based, and in all honesty, old Scott Schuman doesn't even make it over here all that often. But Spoonfed's Arts Editor was in it a while back and he never misses an opportunity to tell everyone about it.
Stylist Stuff
Primarily the work of stylist Rebekah Roy, Stylist Stuff also features thoughts and opinions by a range of other fashion insiders. As well as appearing on TV and working with loads of cool celebrity types, Rebekah is something of an LFW stalwart – back in February she styled no less than six shows – amazing! Her blog is a great insight into her hectic, but enviable, lifestyle.
Taylor-Made
Phill Taylor is an up and coming fashion photographer who, incidentally, used to share a flat with Spoonfed's Arts Editor. He does a lot of advertising and editorial work (for Grazia in particular) and his blog mainly features beautiful, confident girls from across the capital.
Style Salvage
Started back in 2007, Style Salvage bills itself as “an open discussion” between two friends “on how men could (and should) dress. Basically this means images of wicked (and wearable) clothes, interviews with like-minded London folk, and a neat feature where they track the weekly wardrobe of someone whose personal style they admire.
Daily Rubbish
We interviewed Jenny Dyson – Rubbish's “Creative Director/Publisher, etc” – just before London Fashion Week, February 2010, and how lovely she was. Rubbish started life in 2006 as one of those big, cool fashion magazine/book things you occasionally see and can't afford. Now it's an all-encompassing mag/blog/agency extravaganza – they've even produced some cool fashion finger-puppets!
Kate Loves Me
Not as much as you love yourself buddy! London fashion hipster Pelayo Diaz likes kilts, quiffs, celebrities, and himself. And whilst his grinning face is occasionally quite annoying, there's no doubt that his life of shows, posing and parties is a rather entertaining one.
Style Bubble
Susanna Lau set up her blog back in 2006, and on the back of it has landed jobs at Dazed & Confused, front row seats at Gucci, and over 300,000 unique users per month. Hers is the blueprint for the successful fashion blog – fun, quirky, interesting and with a distinct personality all of its own.
