Jamie XX, Floating Points, Omar S and more to headline Deviation at XOYO

You’ve probably heard it through the grapevine that Deviation has been welcomed in to XOYO’s loving arms and will be launching a residency there starting on the 1st of February.

So far the line up for the upcoming nights has been held under lock and key, but now the next four month's headliners have finally been announced.

The inaugural party is something of a gift to Deviation regulars in return for five years of good faith and good vibes. Leading the affair will be Deviation boss-man and resident, Benji B plus a yet to be announced special guest. Whoever it is, it’s bound to be an amazing start to a great series of nights.

The next party takes place on the 1st of March and will see elusive producer and Mercury Prize winning Jamie XX take to the decks. He’ll be joined by the equally mysterious Actress who’ll be performing a rare DJ set.

Friday the 5th of April is set to be as massive as the previous month’s parties. Dubstep vanguard and DMZ co-founder Mala’s latest project Mala in Cuba will be performing a special live set. Eglo Records’ Floating Points will be getting behind the behind the ones and twos as well.

Along for May 3rd’s edition will be seminal Detroit DJ Omar S. and the enigmatic Numbers head Jackmaster. Among the likes of Carl Craig and Jeff Mills, Omar S. is a major player in the Motor City Sounds and is set to drop a much awaited release this January. With 10 years of experience producing dance-floor gems there’s no way he’ll be anything less than incredible on the night.

Deviation's residency at XOYO begins on the 1st of February. Tickets are £12.50 and availible via the XOYO website
