The Black Cock maestro makes his return.

DJ Harvey is to make a surprise return to the UK for the first time in a decade, teaming up with Red Bull Music Academy to play the Oval Space on Friday 19th October.

Few DJs can boast such cult status in the UK as Harvey Basset: former Moist resident at The Gardening Club; responsible for bringing the likes of Francois K, Kenny Carpenter and Larry Levan to the UK; and owner of fabled and highly collectable Black Cock records, on which he re-created legendary disco edits by the likes of Ron Hardy.

Musically, his sets are as wide-ranging as they come, journeying from disco to rock, Balearica to electro funk and beyond. These all-encompassing marathon have, over the years, earned him the title of the quintessential DJ’s DJ. If ever a night was nailed-on to sell out quickly, this is it.
