Chicago House legend Ron Trent returns to the UK for an endurance set.

Chicago house legend Ron Trent will be making his way to London this February, to grace deep house club night Need2Soul with an epic 7 hour set. Taking place on the 9th February, it'll be Trent’s first UK show since April of last year and is bound to be a big one.

A constant presence in the world of dance music since the 1990s, Ron Trent is one half of Prescriptions Records, a label widely considered to be one of the most influential names in the Chicago house scene. Through the label as well as his own production and DJ work Trent has gained a reputation for putting out well produced, often epic dance music that seamlessly incorporates and blends soul, funk and world music. Simply put, Ron’s just keeps on getting better and better.

Need2Soul is the brainchild of London promoter Alex Ruello and has been giving people a place to get down since 2004. An ambassador for great dance music incorporating house, disco, techno, jazz and soul, Need2Soul is all about putting on great parties at intimate and stunning venues, exactly the kind of place where Ron Trent hold his own.

The exact location for the 9th has yet to be announced, but we are allowed to tell you that it’s a studio space with a limited capacity of 350, and will be revealed closer to the date. Tickets are available now at the Need2Soul website.
