Resident Charlie Dave Kent steps up to bring us a mix ahead of AoD's next party this weekend.

We're back with another mix this week courtesy of one of our favourite underground house and techno parties, Art of Dark.

They've been good enough to get resident Charlie Kent on the 1s and 2s to put together a mix of warm, leftfield sounds for us ahead of this weekend's party with Dan Andrei and Nima Gorji.

Tell us about the Mix.
I've put this warm up type mix together inspired by the deeper and weirder
side of underground house music. The track list I've selected consists of
music new and old, that will give an idea of my set for the 2nd Feb as I'll be on warm up duties.

What are you're plans for 2013?
Well my plans for 2013 so far, is mainly just getting my head down and
working hard on my music and productions really, along with a bunch of Art
of Dark parties to look forward to. From a weekly Summer residency on the
beach of Playa D'en Bossa, Ibiza. To hosting an arena at The Vertigo
Festival in Turin, Italy. plus of course plenty more parties that have not
been announced yet. I strongly believe that 2013 will be a very special
year!

Looking forward to Saturday?
I'm really excited for the party! Dan Andrei is a personal favourite of mine, a very talented young artist from Romania and part of the [a:rpia:r] crew. Art of Dark had him over last Summer for an all day and night party which was amazing and we're sure he'll be just as good this time round.

Nima Gorji is also a guest on the bill who is a ridiculously cool DJ/Producer and has been for many years now. Also head residents Jack & I will be performing their first ever live set too! Sure it'll be a party to remember!
