Easy tiger...

This week your Spoonfed mix comes at you from the West Country via Detroit courtesy of producer/vocalist duo AZ&TOR, who came to our attention in the summer with the brilliant Save My Soul. We love them, and after hearing this mix you probably will too.
Tell us a bit about yourselves...
TOR: We are a singer/MC/producer/DJ Duo based in Bristol, concentrating on soulful, bass driven house and 2step beats. I’m originally from Kent and grew up in Detroit. I then moved to Bristol to Study music production at Access to Music.
AZ: I come from a little hippy town near Leeds/Manchester called Hebden Bridge. I met TOR last winter when moving to Bristol city, and ever since then we've been making bassy, future garage house and played at some amazing nights and parties over the last year.
Whats in the mix?
AZ: Plenty of uptempo beats, heavy basslines, and sexy vocals, including tasters of a couple of our upcoming releases.
Playing any good parties soon?
TOR: We got some cool parties coming up at the end of the year including Troupe / Eton Messy at XOYO and Trinity in Bristol. We've also been booked for Bugged Out weekender in Jan which I'm super hyped for.
AZ: Yeah cant wait for XOYO, I'm gonna dress up as a tiger - that should be lots of sweaty fun, especially looking forward to Shadow Child’s set!
What's up next?
TOR: We have our first release on Kerri Chandler's Madtech label in Feb which I'm so excited about. It’s going to be a 4 track EP with a remix from another artist. We are also working very hard on new material too so keep posted for future releases from us in 2013.
AZ: So yeah, at the moment we're just perfecting our delicious grooves, and working on our new video with the amazing Matilda Finn and Laurence Matthew Blake! We are also looking forward to the new year. The future’s looking bright.
