Thunder, Fresh Up, Them - Editor's Choice, Clubbing

Clubbing editor Tom Armstrong picks his top three parties from the weekend ahead.

Friday 1st February

Thunder w/Gene Hunt
Dance Tunnel

Gene Hunt, legend of Chicago house, young protege of Ron Hardy, comes to London for the first time since the '90s for Thunder. House royalty playing to an intimate crowd in a basement club - it's a surefire winner.

Friday 1st February
Fresh Up
Life

DMX Krew brings his bag of synth fused, drum flecked, analogue goodies to the basement of a Japanese restaurant for another of his Fresh Up label parties.

There are few selectors more capable of making a crowd move than EDMX, this comes recommended.

Saturday 2nd February
Them
Corsica Studios

To celebrate four years of events, Them have put together a weighty line-up to see in their birthday at Corisca Studios.

The line-up includes a long awaited appearance from electronica/techno producer Acrtess, with Lone, My Nu Leng and Throwing Snow also doing their thang over the two rooms.
