Africa Oyé is the UK’s largest celebration of African music and culture and takes place annually in Liverpool. It started in 1992 as a series of small gigs and has expanded to its current home in Sefton Park: it's now a sprawling festival which attracts over 50,000 people with over 60 stalls selling amazing African food, drink, art and crafts.

Musically they continue to push boundaries, harnessing the true spirit of multiculturalism with artists from nations across Africa, South America and the Caribbean.

A colourful and vibrant slice of afro culture in an unlikely setting.
