Set up in 2003 by Saint Acid (probably not officially canonised), Bangface is a legendary club night that looks to combine a range of music styles, from techno and electro to acid, rave, jungle and breakcore. This year they have scored Aphex Twin, Venetian Snares and Luke Vibert to headline.

In 2008, they held their first three-day party, the Bang Face Weekender, at a holiday camp in Camber Sands, East Sussex. The poor little town didn't know what had hit it. This is their first party down in Cornwall and looks smashing with a stunning cliff beach on which they have promised a party and some adventure activities.

Bangface is not exactly subtle and the festival is no different. 2008's party was referred to as a Neo-Rave Armageddon and was themed, rather charmingly, around the 1986 Chernobyl disaster. Last year's rave theme was simply horror. So, if you (like so many) are a fan of glowsticks, pills and '90s rave, but despise the very thought of sleeping, eating or peace and quiet, then Bangface is probably the festival for you. The line-ups will bang your face, hard.

Hard crew, you know what to do.
