BASS Festival: British Arts and Street Sounds - is a month long celebration of Black music and art which returns to Birmingham in June with a city wide-feast of urban culture. It's organised by Black music specialists: Punch Records.

Now in its sixth year, this year's theme is revolution. Founder Ammo Tawlar says: “BASS has always had its finger on the pulse of the latest talent, trends and opportunities that will revolutionise your thinking about music, dance, spoken word and theatre. And this year's theme is exactly about that – it’s all about revolution."

There'll be fashion shows, live performance, club nights and talks. Ghostpoet plays the launch party. For more info click here.
