Beach Break Live
is a student festival and, according to their website, one of the only UK festivals next to a beach. Special. They won the Best Small Festival Award in 2009 year despite last minute relocation. From 16th - 20th June students from across the UK will be flocking en masse to a gorgous beach and 500 acre country park in South Wales to celebrate the end of exams and the beginning of summer.

Last year's line up spanned a range of genres such as indie, breaks, folk, dub step, ska, world sounds, dnb, electro, reggae and funk and included the likes of Magnetic Man, TEED, Tinie Tempah and We Are Scientists.

Aside from the music, revellers will be free to enjoy all the sun, sea and sand related tomfoolery that you might expect at a beach-based festival. Last year's seaside shenanigans included surf championships, Ski and snowbaording championships (there is a dry slope), mud wrestling, surfboard javelin and the fancy dress finale.
