Bearded Theory Festival is famous for its quirky theme, which each year attempts to break the world record for the most amount of people wearing a fancy dress of beards at once. 

The festival isn't just a record breaking party but hosts an entertainment of bands, arts, crafts, weddings, DJs and general daftness as part of a three day music festival that has now firmly entrenched itself as being the first "proper" festival of the season.

Bearded Theory has seen over 300 diverse artists perform over 5 stages. Past acts include Hawkwind, Dreadzone, Saw Doctors, Neville Staple, Banco De Gaia, New Model Army, Union Jack, King Blues, The Wonder Stuff, 3 Daft Monkeys, Dodgy, Pama International, Dr & The Medics, Subgiant and even the Cheeky Girls.
