If your musical tastes veer towards ska, reggae and bass, and if you by perchance have a family in tow, then the eco and uber kid-friendly Boomtown Fair is a damn near perfect choice for your field action this summer.
The festival which keeps getting better and better have triumphed this year, as they have an Arcadia festival exclusive. Anyone who has scene the epic fire shows and incredible spider shaped outdoor venue will know just how special that is. (Read our interview with the Arcadia creator Pip Rush here.)
Entering its sixth year, Boomtown have totally stepped it up on the bass music front as well as keeping their family and kid-orientated side. Hospitable campsites, circus performances, on-site art, activities, workshops and lots of catering options will still be the focus of this year's Boomtown fair, not forgetting the Bassline circus - a massive area which will be the focus for the rave orientaed punters.
