Any old Sunday will do...
After much campaigning and nail biting, disco and soul legend Chaka Khan has finally been confirmed as performing at this year's Lovebox.
The addition of the 'Aint Nobody' and 'Clouds' singer caps off a sensational day of disco on the Sunday, which will also see Grace Jones and Chic perform on the main stage.
This year's festival marks Lovebox's 10 year anniversary, with many of the best acts over the decade returning for encore performances. The campaign to get Chaka on stage was spearheaded by London's own disco foursome Horse Meat Disco, who'll be playing in the NYC Downlow tent. Resident Jim Stanton told us "What an absolute triumph for disco music. With so many sad losses already this year this line up is a true celebration, so we're thrilled to be a part of the party!"
