L.E.D. announces killer debut festival line-up.

David Guetta and Leftfield are to headline the London Electronic Dance Festival (L.E.D.), London's hottest new festival, touching down this August in Victoria Park.

The three festival organisers, Cream, Goldenvoice and Loudsound, have put their heads together and come up with a cracking first line-up. With a comprehensive list of acts including Soulwax, Calvin Harris, Tiga, Friendly Fires, Aphex Twin and many more, this festival poses as a dance music alternative to Reading Festival that also takes place on the same August bank holiday weekend.

Friday sees the French house superstar DJ/producer David Guetta take to the stage to smash Victoria Park to pieces in what will be his only London show this summer. Other artists featured on Friday's bill include Soulwax; the Belgian live indie/dance crossover phenomenon, Calvin Harris; pop's favourite synth-pop Scotsman, Audio Bullys; whose 2005 hit 'shot you down' is still a dancefloor destroyer, and the Canadian electro guru Tiga, set to host his very own Turbo Arena.

Meanwhile Saturday night is headlined by one of the most inspiring names in dance music, Leftfield: true pioneers in the field of intelligent dance music and progressive house. After nearly a decade away, Neil Barnes returns (minus Paul Daley) to perform his only London show exclusively to the L.E.D. festival-goers. In support of the legendary dance outfit are Goldfrapp, Friendly Fires, and another of contemporary music's most influencial artists, Aphex Twin. Radio One DJ Annie Mac hosts her own dance arena set to feature a barrage of exciting dance acts still to be confirmed.

With such a well thought out debut line-up, this is sure to be a spectacular weekend.
