It might have crossed a few festival-goers' minds that they could do a better job, and create a weekend of festivities that would be more to their taste. Maybe there'd be less advertising? Or perhaps more emphasis on the undiscovered acts rather than the headliners? Well, two such brainiacs have achieved this with their End of the Road festival held in the Larmer Tree Gardens.

“Taking pride in the little things” is their motto, and subsequently its success, from choosing good beers and quality food vendors, to friendly staff and making sure there's enough loo roll in the ladies.

If you want to end a summer of festivities on a good note then this is your festival.
