Oh la la...

The organisers might not have any control over the weather, but at least when it comes to slapping together amazing line-up’s for Field Day 2010 they don’t muck around, as the confirmation of French elecrtro-popsters Pheonix for this year’s festival screams out loud and clear.
Before you start scrolling down to the bottom of the page to type ‘wtf! Who the hell is Phoenix?’ It’s probably best to tell you that you’ve probably heard these guys without even realising it - their songs have been featured on movies like Lost in Translation, Marie Antoinette, and Shallow Hal. However if you don’t now go out and get ‘Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix’ , you’re officially missing out on the best record of last year.
As well as confirming the headliners, Eat Your Own Ears have also announced some of the smaller acts and it reads like a wish-list of experimental pop with the likes of Memory Tapes, Silver Apples, Esben and The Witch and Mouse on Mars to look forward too.
OK, it’s all pretty beardy, but hey! If you want Lily Allen then you’re best heading to Wireless.
