Line-up News for Glastonbury Festival 2010

Glasto Dance Village

With a site big enough to have its own village, this sort of announcement could only come from the festival metropolis that is Glastonbury and its mayors, parish leaders and councillors have just confirmed for the annual meeting.

Five main stages will be the cornerstones of this dance hamlet, complete with the “kitsch tropicalia” themed WOW! stage consisting of a pineapple boot DJ booth adorned with pink flamingos – Hawaiian shirts might be appropriate here. The Pussy Parlure, Cubehenge, and East and West stages will also be where this superstarry line-up of DJs, acts and dance shows will be taking place.

Now, let's see – there's Fat Boy Slim, Chase and Status, and Simian Mobile Disco to name a few on the Friday, High Contrast, Zero7 and Kelis on the Saturday, and Crystal Castles, Stanton Warriors and The Correspondents on the fourth and final day. If there's one village fête you attend this year let this one be it.
