Glade announce their top dogs.
Glade have just anounced their first three headliners: Orbital, Simian Mobile Disco and Tricky will be wowing crowds. Nick Ladd, Glade Festival Creative Director says "there are lots more big guns to come, especially as the Glade Festival line-up has been evolving in the past couple of years to embrace more crossover styles and different flavours. This year, we will definitely be taking that a step further with lots of surprises in store."
Ah Glade. The electronic music festival against which all others measure themselves. When it comes to line-ups, Glade are unparalleled. Across the board of dance music genres, they cover every cutting edge base there is. Everyone wants to play there. Their festival is legendary.
Born as an offshoot of Glastonbury's shady rave area, Glade have been kicking it for 7 years. Having moved location last year to the Matterley Bowl thanks to sound restrictions, they enjoyed one of their finest years to date with soundsystems pumping it out 'til morning. "We were really chuffed with the new venue. The late night sound levels were excellent and Matterley Bowl really lends itself well to all the site art installations we are now bringing over from Burning Man. We were dancing outdoors till sunrise... it was epic!" said Creative Director Nick Ladd.
