GLASTONBURY 2011: The Review

The highs, the lows, the booty...

Glastonbury

by: Spoonfed Festivals

THERE WILL BE NO GLASTONBURY IN 2012. GLASTONBURY 2013 OPENS ON WEDNESDAY 26TH 2013.

When: 26-30 June 2013
Where: Worthy Farm, Pilton, Shepton Mallet, Somerset
How much: £195 for a full adult ticket

What can be said about Glastonbury that hasn't already been said? Everything about the festival is legendary, from the awesome line-ups every year to the inevitable frivolities in the mud. This year marks the 42nd festival.

The festival has been held since the 1970s, and now features up to 700 acts playing over 80 stages. In other words, it is absolutely massive, and there is no way you will get to see all the bands you like. Chances are you will spend hours wandering around in the rain, drinking LSD-laced beverages and meeting some really weird people.

But that's what Glasto is all about - the atmosphere. You just have to have been at least once in your life.
