Glastonbury is to hold another and final ticket re-sale on Sunday 16 May

Glastonbury
Glastonbury festival is to hold a second re-sale of cancelled tickets this Sunday given the May 7 deadline for festival goers requesting refunds.

The first re-sale of tickets went ahead on 11 April and original tickets to the Pilton farm festival sold in just over twelve hours on 4th October last year, this is the last chance to snap up tickets and promises minimum availability.

This year the festival will take place between Wednesday, 23rd June and Sunday, 27th June and marks the 40th anniversary of what is widely regarded as the jewel in the UK festival circuits crown. It also follows Glastonbury winning the prestigious accolade of ‘International Festival of the Year’ at the 21st Annual Pollstar Awards, the fifth time the festival has won the award.

Glastonbury's 2010 line-up looks set to see the 40th birthday bash go off with a bang with U2 (Fri), Muse (Sat) and Stevie Wonder (Sun), so get in line and buy those tickets this Sunday!

Tickets are available online at www.seetickets.com/g2010 and via the Seetickets booking line 0844 412 4635.  In order to purchase tickets you must be registered on the festivals website www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk
