Hove is a music festival held on the island of Tromøy outside of Arendal in southern Norway. It began in 2007 and has established itself as a reputable live music festival by booking the best international indie and rock bands. Since their inception in 2007, they have welcomed, The Killers, Arcade Fire, Queens Of The Stone Age, Incubus, Interpol, Gossip, The Horrors and many others to their main stage.
Thanks to its island setting, the festival has easy beach access and is immersed in nature. The surroundings are idyllic and the event sets standards for environmental awareness. There is no age limit - unlike other Festival Republic events. Children under 12 are admitted free.
