And the hits just keep on coming...

Good news for all you people who attend SOAS or work in graphic design, Jack Johnson has been confirmed for this year’s Glastonbury festival, making the Hawaiian singer songwriter one of the few names announced for the festival’s 40th anniversary celebrations.
An accomplished professional surfer and film-maker who achieved commercial success after appearing on G Love and Special Sauce’s album ‘Philadelphronic’, Johnson has become the official soundtrack for campfires and hippy lovemaking sessions, and even lent his laid-back, sun-washed soft rock to the soundtrack to monkey-based adventure/comedy Curious George.
All this adds to the growing speculation that surrounds the burning issue of just who will be headlining this year’s festival. With U2, already confirmed for one of the top slots, and Coldplay, Gorillaz, Madonna, Kylie, Muse, Stevie Wonder and The Rolling Stones all rumoured to be in the running; Emily Eavis has told BBC6 Music that one of the headliners will be a Pyramid stage virgin. Not counting U2, obviously.
Glastonbury Festival takes place on June 25-27.
