Jonsi and Richard Hawley announced for The Word Arena.

Sigur RosJónsi and Richard Hawley have been added to Latitude's 2010 festival bill. They'll be joining headliners The National, The XX and Grizzly Bear in The Word Arena.

Jónsi has only so far been confirmed for two UK festivals which include Latitude and Bestival, although it looks as though there may be a gap in his schedule between touring The USA and Europe. Perhaps a Glastonbury appearance is on the cards? That'd be cool.

Appearing in The Word Arena on the Friday is singer/songwriter Richard Hawley of Pulp fame, who has a UK tour scheduled in October and only Latitude confirmed so far for this year's festival season.

Set on the coast of Suffolk in Southwold, Latitude features performances which span a variety of the arts including poetry, storytelling, comedy and live music. This year the festival will run from Thursday 15th of July until Sunday the 18th of July, although the festival is in the process of applying for a license to close its gates at 5pm on Monday the 19th of July.

Confirmed headliners this year for the Obelisk Arena are Florence and the Machine, Belle and Sebastian and Vampire Weekend.

Weekend tickets are priced at £155 and day tickets are £65, get your tickets quick as this is sure to be a sell-out.
