Reaching the ripe old age of 53, the annual The Times BFI London Film Festival makes a stylish return to the capital, featuring 15 world premieres
alongside the latest features, shorts, and documentaries from around
the world.
Starting on the 14th October, the LFF opens with the screening of the much anticipated adaptation of Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr Fox, and other highlights include new work from Jean-Pierre Jeunet (MICMACS) and Scott Hicks (The Boys are Back).
Taking place in a variety of cinemas across London, there's plenty of
opportunity for you to check the festival out at yoru local or in town,
and there are even some outdoor events. Plus, book tickets for a screen
talk by a prestigious director or actor.
However, with 191 features and 113 shorts of which 146 are UK premieres
there is one problem - which events to see? Luckily we're on hand and
we'll provide a handy guide to the very best of the LLF.
