Line-ups, news and updates for Melt Festival 2012.

Where: Ferropolis, Berlin, Germany

When: 13th - 15th July 2012
How much:  Weekend ticket 126€ - 131€

Melt Festival occurs at Ferrolpolis - a filled-in quarry on the outskirts of Berlin which now functions as an open air museum for industrial machinary - and a place to hold massive parties. Now in its 16th year, Melt has long been attracting the hoards of UK ravers eager to travel for their innovative electronic-meets-rock line-ups and of course the vital sense of being on holiday - as well as on a danceflor in a field.

Melt do indeed book across the board acts, from Berlin's techno lynchpins, global electronic legends, to more mainstream live music. This year their expansive line-up includes acts as diverse as Rufus Wainwright, Richie Hawtin, Squarepusher, Nero, Yeasayer, Hudson Mohawke, The Gaslamp Killer and Justice.

Sound perfect? There's even a lake to swim in.
