Line-ups, updates and news for 2011

oxjam

As much as us tight gits at Spoonfed like being at the receiving end of charity (we never, ever turn down freebies), the importance of\r\nhelping the less fortunate hasn't escaped us. Oxjam is the musical off-shoot charity fundraiser of Oxfam. It's a month long event that runs throughout October each year and, much like Geldof, uses music to raise money for charity.

The Oxjam events are not just subjected to London but the whole of the U.K. It allows local bands and promoters to come together to raise some much needed cash for the people who need it. The idea of local bands creating a global change through the shows they play at this event should be appealing to music fans all over.

Oxjam are now recruiting for their 2011 events and line ups and shows are to be announced very soon.
