Radio 1's Hackney Weekender - Line-Up and Ticket Details Announced
03 February, 2012
by: Spoonfed Festivals
The pop Olympics come to Hackney.

Radio 1's annual Big Weekender is taking over Hackney for two days in June, giving 100,000 lucky(?) people the chance to be part of the biggest pop music festival in London.
The festival takes place on Hackney Marshes on 23rd and 24th June. Tickets as always are free and available by registering and applying online from Monday 6th February.
The line-up reads like a who's who of pop royalty, with the likes of Leona Lewis, Florence and the Machine, Swedish House Mafia, Jessie J and Lana Del Ray all appearing across six stages. If you're a teenage girl this is probably your Woodstock, if the thought of walking around a living, breathing Top 40 chart show makes you feel violently ill and run for your Joy Division album, this isn't for you.
