Ooh there's nothing more exciting than a bit of mystery. Shambala is so secret that its exact location is only revealed to those who have bought tickets. Exciting. The only information to be disclosed thus far is that it will take place in Northamptonshire. Somewhere. Further details remain pretty cloak and dagger, but we're told that there will be more information released in due course.

For now we'll have to make do with reminiscing about last year's Shambala loveliness. With its community spirit, commitment to all things green, and chilled, family-friendly vibe, Shambala is THE festival of peace and love. Last year saw an eclectic mix of underground bands performing folk, blues, global roots, ska, funk, electro, gypsy-punk, dub, reggae, jungle, afrobeat and hip hop. As well as the music, the festival featured a Woodland Art Trail, a jungle hot tub area and, of course, Shambala's trademark Saturday night, fancy dress carnival.
