Should Flags Be Banned At Glastonbury? Have Your Say

The iconic festival puts it to the public vote.

Reading, Leeds and Download have banned flags from their festivals. They obscure people's view of the stage, they say.

At Glastonbury, flags have always had a massive presence at the Pyramid stage - providing a handy landmark for friends who have been seperated as well as injecting a small, friendly bit of nationalism. Just look at the image above. The crowd is a veritable wasps' nest of comedy, home-made efforts and proper, enormous country flags.

But should they be banished? Do they obscure the stage? Are they annoying or charismatic?

Vote now.
