Line-ups, updates and news for Spitalfields Festival 2011

Spitalfields
Where: Spitalfields Market
When: 10th - 25th June 2011
How Much: Various

Spitalfields Market
has had a real makeover in the last few years. Gone are the scruffy shops, the market-stall tat and the charm. Now's there's neon strip-lighting everywhere, faux-global cuisine from Giraffe, a Patisserie Valerie and even a Whistles.

None of this has much impact on the Spitalfields Festival, which features a whole host of classical music concerts in a range of venues in an around the market itself. In addition to the music, there's a daily series of outdoor events in the market place, including walks and talks.
