BFI Southbank - dates still to be announced.

Every October the BFI Southbank hold a film festival showcasing the best contemporary cinema from across the globe. It attracts international film makers, Hollywood stars, industry professionals and the general public, all desperate to attend screenings and in many cases premieres, of small indie films, documentaries, blockbusters, short films, foreign films...you get the picture (no pun intended).There are also talks and workshops given by actors, directors and writers willing to share their expertise and open debate. It is undoubtedly a key event in the film buff's calender.

The full programme for 2011 will be announced in September.
