Line-ups, updates and news for V Festival 2011

When: 20th and 21st August 2011
Where: Hylands Park, Essex. Weston Park, Shropshire
How much: £175 weekend ticket with camping £149 without camping £83.50 day ticket

V Festival, the Virgin Media sponsored annual music festival, takes place for two days across two sites in Chelsmford and Shropshire. It's a mainstream affair, and is able to attract massive acts to play at the two venues. This year they have introduced V style camping (posh camping for those not keen on roughing it) - the yurts and tipis have electricty and speakers.

Music wise it's across the board, mainstream stuff: from old-school indie bands like Cast to commercial hip hop and pop. This year the headliners are Eminem, Arctic Monkeys and Rihanna.
