A look at some of the best cocoa-based treats in the capital.
Chancery Court Chocolate Tea
A stunning Edwardian hotel in High Holborn, Chancery Court is currently offering a Chocolate Afternoon Tea with a 'help yourself' buffet - the stuff of dreams for chocolate fiends. Take your pick from the groaning tables of cocoa-based goodies (pictured above), including massive shards of white chocolate, raspberry and milk chocolate macaroons, white chocolate pistachio tortes, chocolate tartlets, madelaines and squidgy brownies. There's also two chocolate fondues (one white, one milk) which you can dip anything from pineapple and strawberries, to amaretti biscuits and marshmellows into. Utter bliss.
Served from Wednesday-Saturday 2pm-6pm
£23.50 per person
Rococo Chocolate School
Apart from producing the prettiest choclate packaging we've ever seen, Rococo also hold loads of events in their flagship store on Motcomb Street, ranging from a one-to-one three day class to children's chocolate fondue parties, beginner's tasting sessions and truffle masterclasses.
Events range from £15-£1550
Niko B's Cocoa Club
An organic chocolatier based in Stoke Newington. Niko B's cocoa club is London's sole 'dessert only' dining club, mixing themed chocolate menus with music and cocktails. Previous events have included a Halloween 'freak feast' and a 'Farmer's Harvest'.
William Curley chocolate course
The perfect foodie Christmas gift, award-winning chocolatier William Curley hosts truffle and sea salt caramel making courses at his Belgravia shop every month. Learn the chocolate making process from bean to bar, how to pipe like the pros and make and roll ganache. Once your chcolates have set, you can then take them all home in your own ribbon-tied box.
One course voucher costs £150, valid for 12 months
