From pop-up restaurants to tea and biscuits: our selection of the five best food and drink events taking place across London next month.

Friday 1st June – Sunday 3rd June
God Save the Clam @ Emigre Studios
£39, times vary
What better way to celebrate the Jubilee weekend than by gorging yourself on clam bake whilst sitting on a rooftop overlooking London Fields. Barbecue heroes of the moment Pitt Cue have teamed up with seafood-lovers Rock Lobsta for a three-course feast at The Emigre Studios. As well as cocktails, DJs, beer from Meantime, lobster popcorn and Po Boy sandwiches, there's even Elvis-themed ice cream from Glyn's Ice Cream Bar (inspired by little-known Presley movie Clam Bake).
Saturday 2nd June
AmnesTEA and Cake @ The People's Supermarket
Free, 2pm-6pm
The ever-brilliant People's Supermarket celebrates its second birthday this June with an afternoon of cake and tea. With an outdoor tea-room, birthday-themed bake off, cake raffle and all manner of stalls and tea-related activities (tea bag and spoon race, anyone?) plus fun and games for children and live music, this should be a very entertaining afternoon. Proceeds go to Amnesty International and the admirably ethical People's Supermarket.
Friday 8th – Sunday 10th June
British Biscuit Festival @ Brunswick Centre
Free, 12pm-6pm
The first ever British Biscuit Festival, at the Grade II-listed Brutalist Brunswick Centre, just near Russell Square. A veritable feast of biscuit-themed shenanigans are taking place: from workshops with The Cake Conjuror to a tea dance with Ragroof Theatre, bisc-art competitions, tournaments, stalls and more. Look out for an exploration of the role of the biscuit in scientific discovery courtesy of Guerilla Science and Animal Vegetable Mineral's history of funeral biscuits. Crumbs!
Tuesday 12th – Friday 15th June
Beard to Tail @ 24 Chart Street
From £8 per dish, times vary
The splendid folks from underground Shoreditch cocktail bar Callooh Callay are spreading their wings with the opening of a new bar and restaurant just round the corner on Chart Street. Before the full launch in September, they're offering a sneak peak in the form of a four-day pop-up this June. Combining the dazzling cocktails for which they're so loved with a seriously carnivore-friendly menu, this should be a cracking little place. Or crackling, you might say. Sorry...
Thursday 21st June – Sunday 24th June
Taste of London @ Regent's Park
£24, 12pm-4pm / 5.30pm-9.30pm
Taste of London, the open-air restaurant festival, returns to London, pots and pans in tow, for another year of gastronomic indulgence in Regent's Park. For four days, 40 of the capital's best restaurants, and 150 speciality food and drink producers will be on hand. This year, the big news is the presence of no less than eleven Michelin Stars amongst the restaurants involved in Taste of London. Look out for the likes of Jason Atherton, Nuno Mendes, Theo Randall and Wolfgang Puck. Quote Spoonfed35 for discount tickets.
