Dabbous, Hawksmoor, Copita and Sushi Tetsu win accolades at the annual London Restaurant Festival.

Dabbous, Hawksmoor, Copita, Sushi Tetsu and more were honoured in an awards ceremony at Vinopolis last night, as the London Resturant Festival drew to a close. The annual LRF Awards concentrate on qualities that attract people to restaurants like 'Warmth', 'Discovery', 'Passion', 'Ceremony', 'Bravery' and 'Fun', rather than non-descript, superlative titles like 'The Best'.

Hawksmoor, renowned for its prime rib, brilliant cocktails and buzzy atmosphere was awarded the Warmth and Welcome Award, while Pitt Cue chef and co-owner Tom Adams was commended for his passion, and Soho tapas bar Copita, for its sense of fun. Less of a surprise announcement was this year's big success story – Dabbous  which won 'Restaurant of the Year'.

Fay Maschler, restaurant critic and co-founder of the London Restaurant Festival said: "London is continuing to rival Paris, New York and Sydney in terms of innovative, ground breaking food and this year’s London Restaurant Festival has really brought this to life. As we can see at tonight’s awards, this city is buzzing with world leading chefs and stunning cuisine – with so much to offer, we are already looking forward to LRF 2013".
