The hottest new bars, pop-ups and restaurants in London.

What is it?
Ground floor restaurant in the South Place Hotel, the first hotel from D&D London, the team behind The Bluebird, Coq d'Argent, Lauenceston Place, Floridita and more.
Where is it?
The City, in between Liverpool Street and Moorgate.
Crowd:
City Slickers.
Look:
It's Conran-designed, so typically muted and sleek, with chrome tables and British diner pop art prints on the walls.
Food:
The all-day menu serves classic British dishes like cod with triple cooked chips and mushy peas, wild mushrooms on toast and smoked cobb salad. There are offally delights for nose-to-tail fans including pig cakes, stuffed trotters and devilled bone marrow (pictured), plus comfort food like chicken pie, lobster 'mac', hot salt beef sarnies and hamburgers. We like the sound of afternoon tea as well; designed to suit any craving with different menus for finger sandwiches, bridge rolls, English savouries, cakes and cream teas.
Booze:
Good mix of old and new world wines from Puligny-Montrachet to New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Cocktails include 'An American Affair' with Jack Daniels, ginger, honey, lemon, served in a tin tankard; or 'From Russia With Love' – a refreshing blend of Hendricks, St Germain, rose liqueur and cucumber.
How much?
About £30 a head for three courses. Wine ranges from £4-£19.50 a glass. Cocktails are £9.50 each.
Extras:
Open from 6:30am-2am, it's barely shut, with a midnight munchies menu including chicken pie and rarebit soldiers and DJs playing in the adjoining bar until late. Upstairs, there's an open air garden bar with plants and water features that's ideal for a pre-prandial cocktail and a smoke.
