Dan Deacon returns to our shores...

Dan Deacon's latest album might be called 'America' but he won't be staying there for much longer! In February of next year he'll be embarking on a massive tour of Europe and the UK and what kind of person would he be if he didn't time during his trip to grace the people of London with a glimpse at his beardy little face and his amazing live show.

The electronic composer will be performing a show at Village Underground on the 13th of February and if it's anything like most recent release it's bound the be a sight to behold. Best known for his experimentation with electronic music, Deacon has in recent years begun to explore contemporary classical sounds and live instrumentation.

Aside from releasing an incredibly well received album earlier this summer, he has also worked on a film score fo none other than Frances Ford Coppala and performed at the Steve Reich Reverberations Festival!

His dalliances with new genres and an exploration of new sounds definitely had a profound affect on his album that will no doubt shine through in his live show. Mark our words, we're very excited about this one.

Tickets are availible now through Wegottickets
