Death In Vegas to open The Camden Crawl

Plus we get a sneak peak of this year's promoters.

Here’s something to lighten up a seriously dreary Tuesday morning – festival faves Death in Vegas have been announced as the headliners of the opening night of this year’s Camden Crawl. One of the most unique dance acts to emerge from the '90s rave scene, they're headlining a massive all-nighter at KOKO on the 4th of May that will see the 2012 festival open with more of a bang than usual.

The other news today is that the promoters and curators for the festival have been unveiled. It’s a really interesting combo, with small up and comers like the Lantern Society, Fear and Records and the Flowerpot Collective rubbing shoulders with well established members of the North London music fraternity like Artrocker, 1234 Festival, RockFeedBack, Club Fandango and Moshi Moshi records. Anyway, don’t take our word for it, check out the updated line-up here.

The Crawl takes place in various venues around Camden and Kentish Town over the weekend of the 4th – 5th of May. Advanced tickets are currently available.
