Former Girls front man Christopher Owens announces London show
29 October, 2012

The singer songwriter is to play St Giles Church on the 10th of December.

It’s been a topsy-turvy old year for Christopher Owens. First his band Girls split up, then he decided to write a solo album called ‘Lysandre’ and then everyone goes absolutely nuts for it. So his decision to hop on a jet and play an intimate show in St Giles Church is probably the most obvious move he’s made in 2012.
One of four dates Owen’s is playing to showcase his album, the 10th of December gig will be the first time the UK gets to see the singer songwriter play solo, and it promises to be one of the hottest tickets out there. Recorded with former Girls producer Doug Boehm, ‘Lysandre’ follows Owens from San Francisco to New York City and on to the French Riviera before a melancholy return home and a beautifully articulated epilogue.
With record poised to enter many critics’ Best of 2012 lists, we recommend you secure a ticket as soon as possible for this one.
Tickets are on sale from 9am Friday over on GigsandTours.
