The happy boys of indie announce a special London show.

Interpol have announced a special one-off gig in the intimate surroundings of Heaven to showcase songs from their new self-titled record. The band, who have recently parted ways with bassist Carlos D, who does feature on the album, will play the gig on September 15th. Expect a handful of new songs as well as some of the old hits thrown in as well.

Interpol were pioneers of the brooding indie sound that has influenced acts such as Editors and White Lies since, and, after the success of 'Our Love To Admire', they show no signs of changing their style as they move into their fourth album. The news of the departure of moustached style icon/bassist, Carlos D, has been mourned within the music community but the band are striving to continue without, even if their next bassist doesn't quite reach the same levels of 'cool'.

To get the chance to be one of the first to hear new songs played live by one of the finest indie bands of the decade, simply pre-order the album at HMV.
