Mark & Melanie's Rock 'n' Roll Wedding Reception at The Macbeth

There’s big news in east London this week as a special event announcement comes from The Macbeth. The co-owner and press officer of the Hoxton hang-out are getting married! “I don’t even know who they are,” you may suggest, but that is of no matter. The infatuated pair are inviting anyone who has ever been to the Macbeth (and those who haven’t) to come and celebrate with them at their free entry Rock’n’Roll Wedding Reception on Saturday 15th May.

The aptly named title signals what one might expect from any event at the east London boozer, with Mark and Melanie laying on a full wedding reception with candy buffet, free drinks, free BBQ, champagne raffle and more than likely the odd individual skidding on their knees who should know better. Alongside all this, there will be The Macbeth’s favourite DJs spinning wedding Motown, '60s and dancehall classics with a phenomenal live band. The Fabulous Penetrators will perform on the night and you know what that means, yes, mad dancing and rolling around on the floor in a wolf mask.

Celebrations will begin at 8pm, so dress up in your finest wedding dandy for this total one-off event. Prepare you’re dancing shoes for an evening spent alternating between wedding disco dancing and the obligatory buffet.
